A RICS Level 2 Homebuyer Report is designed for standard, modern, or well-maintained properties. It provides an overview of the property's condition using a traffic-light rating system and highlights defects that need attention — but it doesn't go into the level of detail that an older or unusual property demands.
A RICS Level 3 Full Building Survey is the most comprehensive option. It covers the construction and condition in much greater depth, describes all significant defects, and advises on remediation options and costs. The cost of a property survey in Camden depends on the type of survey, the size of the property, and its age and complexity. As a rough guide:

If your neighbour doesn't agree in writing, a party wall award (a legally binding document prepared by party wall surveyors) is needed before work can start.
